"Our Journey of Hope" was a marching band show inspired by the story of "Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes" a historical novel based on the story of Sadako Sasaki. Sasaki was survivor of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima during WWII. Inspired by the legend that folding a thousand origami cranes would grant a wish, her wish was live through her disease.

The show was about pushing through internal battles and anxieties to find that place and hope and featured paper crane iconography as set pieces.
